The DS3800HPCA is a digital pulse circuit board from General Electric (GE). The DS3800HPCA is part of the Mark IV Speedtronic series. The DS3800HPCA has around forty resistors. The resistors carry and store energy on the circuit board. Each resistor has a special set of markings that correspond with a color code that allows you to identify how much energy each resistor withstand. There are forty yellow diodes throughout the board. There is also a large grey diode and one small black diode. The DS3800HPCA has a long connection terminal (female) on one side. The DS3800HPCA has five LEDs. Four are grouped together and are red in color. The fifth stands alone and is an amber color. Next to the amber LED is a small toggle switch. The DS3800HPCA has twenty-seven EPROM and six EEPROM. These parts hold the DS3800HPCA’s programming data. The EPROM can be reprogrammed while the EEPROM cannot. The EPROM and EEPROMs are placed in four distinct rows on the DS3800HPCA. Between each row is a thin metal divider with eight contact points. The DS3800HPCA has one edge that is labeled A through H and then a J. In between each letter is a triangular symbol. The DS3800HPCA is simple to install with two screw points and two plastic clips. The DS3800HPCA comes labeled with the circuit boards number, the manufacturer's logo (GE) and where it was made. Each part of the DS3800HPCA is clearly labeled with a letter and a number.
