The DS3800HPBD1C1C is part of General Electric's (GE) Speedtronic Mark IV Turbine series. The DS3800HPBD1C1C is easily installed to your existing system with a large connection port with two clips on the other side. For added security, you can also add two screws to the board on the side where the connection terminal is. Each piece of the board is clearly labeled with an alphanumeric code. The board also has General Electric's company logo and the part number (DS3800HPBD1C1C). The DS3800HPBD1C1C has nearly fifty differently banded resistors. The bands indicate how much current each resistor can handle at any time. The DS3800HPBD1C1C also has twelve EEPROMs and twenty EPROMs. They both hold the programming codes for the DS3800HPBD1C1C to function. The EPROMs are capable of being re-programmed where the EEPROMs are not re-programmable. An addition EPROM or EEPROM may be added to the board. There is a space labeled "SPARE" where that piece can be installed. There are a couple of metal wires that help direct current on the DS3800HPBD1C1C as well. The DS3800HPBD1C1C also has small pairs of metal towers. These towers are called Jumper ports. The Jumper ports can redirect the current around the board based on which ones are exposed and which ones are cover. The Jumper ports covers can easily be moved around as the operator sees fit. The DS3800HPBD1C1C also has several varying sized and colored diodes as well as two red LEDs. There is also a small metal switch on the DS3800HPBD1C1C as well.
