Product Description

The GE Microprocessor Board DS3800HMPK1G1G is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Microprocessor Board DS3800HMPK1G1G also is populated with 3 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber LED which are visible from the front of the board. The board also is populated with a microprocessor, erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules, and a 34-pin connector. It also is populated with 2 50-pin connectors.

The GE Microprocessor Board DS3800HMPK1G1G is designed for a long service life. It is also designed for reliability and availability. The drive must be installed in a location that has cool and clean air to keep the drive from overheating. If the drive overheats, it can cause the boards to have intermittent problems. The heat might also cause a serious problem that causes the board to be replaced. If the drive interior temperature reaches a predefined threshold, an overheat trip condition can occur. Trip conditions are problems that can cause major damage to the drive if allowed to continue. Some other conditions that can cause trip conditions are overvoltage and overload. An over voltage condition occurs if the drive is exposed to too much current. This can easily damage the components, including the microprocessor. To avoid this, the drive will automatically shutdown to avoid damage. An overload condition occurs if the motor and other moving parts are stressed over limits by the workload.
