Product Description
The DS3800HMPF is a microprocessor controller module from General Electric. This board was designed for use with the Mark IV Speedtronic control system for gas and steam turbines.
The DS3800HMPF is one of several available <RST> controller modules for the Mark IV. Controller modules like this one are designed to work in conjunction with two other controller boards in a triple-redundant application in conjunction with the system’s communicator.
The DS3800HMPF is a rectangular circuit board that has been factory drilled at each board corner. Two of these factory holes are fitted with extractor clips to allow the board to be more easily inserted or extracted from place. The opposite board edge from these extractors is fitted with a long backplane connector, while the board edge with the extractors includes a right-angled connector, several jumper switches, and two LED indicators. One of these indicators is yellow and the other is red.
Other board components on the DS3800HMPF include TP test points, resistor network arrays, resistors, capacitors, and a number of integrated circuits. The board also includes a vertical pin ribbon connector. This connector allows for communication between the DS3800HMPF and an optional auxiliary board that mounts to the front half of the circuit board. This optional board mounts in place using standoffs and screw mounts.
For additional information about the DS3800HMPF or any other board component from the Mark IV series, please refer to original documentation from General Electric like manuals or user guides. These will provide detailed information regarding the installation and maintenance of your part.
