Product Description

The DS3800HLSD1A1A component is a PCB or printed circuit board that functions as a data link slave card for General Electric’s Mark IV turbine control system.  The MKIV, which was the first of the company’s Speedtronic systems to offer TMR (triple modular redundant) distributed control, uses three identical sections for voted control.   Mark IV circuit boards and components have now been placed in legacy status and cannot be directly ordered from General Electric.  However, AX Control typically maintains on-hand stock.  Most of our warehouse stock can be packed up and shipped out to you within hours of your order placement, and most products ordered before 3 pm will leave our facility on the same day. 

The DS3800HLSD1A1A is a rectangular circuit board weighing approximately 1.0 pounds before any additional external boxing or padding for safe shipment.  The board uses extractor clips (located in factory drilled mounting holes on its leading-edge) to help users pull the board from rack systems.  It is also fitted with three board stiffeners, which run along the longer board dimension.  These stiffeners take the flexibility out of the board and prevent it from possibly cracking or fracturing. 

Board components include a single right-angled backplane connector as well as a front-edge right-angled connector.   The board has over 30 integrated circuits of various sizes.  Six jumper switches are located near the bottom board edge.  These allow users to customize the board for their own use.
