Product Description

The DS3800HLSC1C1B is a data link card designed to fit into the Mark IV Speedtronic system from General Electric.  The Mark IV is a microprocessor-based control system specifically designed for the control of industrial gas and steam turbine systems of various sizes and complexity.  It represented a major forward step in industrial control when it first was introduced due to its TMR (triple modular redundant) configuration, lower failure rate, and fault-tolerant design.  While boards for this system such as the DS3800HLSC1C1B are no longer available through the OEM, they are still readily available from our stock here at AX Control.  

The DS3800HLSC1C1B circuit board weighs approximately 1.0 pounds before the addition of any sort of extraneous shipping materials.  Your shipping weight will be higher due to our careful packing to ensure your part is received in the same condition as the board leaves our warehouse.    

THe DS3800HLSC1C1B is designed with a single long backplane connector.  The opposite leading edge has several LED indicators mounted to it along with one right-angled cable connector with clips on either side to help keep the cabling locked in place.  Additionally, this board edge has two extractor clips fitted into the board corners to allow for easier extraction from a rack system when it is time to replace the board.  

Other board components include integrated circuits, capacitors, diodes, and board stiffeners.  The board stiffeners run along the long dimension of the board and are located at the top and bottom edge as well as at the center of the board.
