The GE Log Dr Bus Interface Board DS3800HLOA1D1A is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Log Dr Bus Interface Board DS3800HLOA1D1A also is populated with 16 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber indicator LED which are visible from the front of the board. The board also features 8 jumpers and 1 erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) module.

The GE Log Dr Bus Interface Board DS3800HLOA1D1A is populated with a total of 17 LEDs. The LEDs are useful to the operator of the drive. They are viewable while the drive is operating and they give the operator an opportunity to monitor the operation of the board. If the amber LED is lit, a warning has occurred and the board will continue to operate. However, it is best practice to investigate the cause of the warning before the warning causes processing errors. The red LEDs each is associated with a circuit. When a red LED has lit, a problem has occurred with the circuit and the circuit has stopped functioning. However, if an LED is on, there are troubleshooting steps to investigate the cause of the problem.

The first step is to restart the drive. If a signal or processing error is the cause of the problem, a restart might clear the error.  Remove all electrical current to restart the drive. Then, wait 30 seconds and start the drive again.
