The DS3800HFXE1D1C is a PCB made by GE that functions as a Slave Board within their Mark IV Speedtronic system for steam/gas turbine control.
The DS3800HFXE1D1C is a rectangular board with factory made holes at each corner. The two right corners are populated by extractor clips, which help technicians with both insertion by giving them a touch point to handle to the board by rather than possibly damaging board circuitry, and extraction by adding a pivot point that pulls the board from its seated position within the rack with less force. The board is marked with codes and the GE logo, and has been marked on one edge for alignment purposes.
The DS3800HFXE1D1C is populated by various resistors, diodes, and capacitors, including polyester vinyl, electrolytic, and ceramic capacitors. The board uses resistor network arrays and trim potentiometers.
Other board components include six transformers, four jumper switches, and LED components. This includes two units with four red LED indicators on each unit, as well as two individual amber indicators and a single red LED indicator. There is a single toggle switch and ten TP test points.
