The GE Generator Regulator Board DS3800DXRA1A1A features 1 20-pin connector and 10 jumpers. The GE Generator Regulator Board DS3800DXRA1A1A also is populated with multiple capacitors and 5 indicator LEDs. The board is also populated with a toggle switch for resetting the board.

The 10 jumpers that populate the board are assigned unique IDs. Each jumper is used to configure a different segment of the processing performed by the board. And the purpose of the jumpers is explained in the printed information supplied by the factory. The information is supplied to you with the original board and is found in the shipping carton. Use the description to understand the purpose of the jumpers and then find the jumper to change by locating the jumper with the same ID on the board.

Best practice is to record the jumper settings for the board and keep the information in a safe place. When you replace the board, set the jumpers on the replacement board to match the defective board.
