Product Description

The GE Circuit Board DS3800DRRA is 2 inches in height and 5 inches in length.  The board features 6 terminals with retention screws, multiple capacitors, and 3 jumpers. The GE Circuit Board DS3800DRRA also is populated with 16 single-pin connectors and 5 resistors embedded on the board.  

The GE Circuit Board DS3800DRRA is designed with 1 hole in each corner. The installer drives a screw in each corner to secure the board in the drive. The drive interior has a space dedicated to the installation of the board. When you install the drive, use 2 hands for the task. With one hand hold the board in place and align the holes on the board with the screws holes in the interior of the drive. Use your free hand to insert the screws in the board. Then, use the screwdriver to tighten the screws. Do not over tighten the screws because the board might crack or chip off the corner of the board.

If you accidently allow a screw to fall into the drive, stop the procedure until you retrieve the screw. If the drive is started with a loose screw, the screw might be jammed in a moving part. This will cause damage to the motor or other moving parts. The motor is a powerful device and personal injury might occur if a moving part strikes an individual near the drive. Also, the loose metal screws might cause an electrical short which might cause a fire or lead to damage to the components.
