Product Description

The DS3800DRFA is a Gas Turbine regulator board. The board is part of GE's Mark IV Speedtronic line.

The DS3800DRFA is a relatively small board compared to others in the Mark IV line.

This board features nineteen connector clips along the edge of the board. These clips are a terminal that can connect to another, larger circuit board. On either side of each prong (above and below) are small silver-colored dots that allow the connecting port to make contact and provide or use the energy of this board.

The board is designed with a number of diodes and resistors.  Diodes may be of varying color and size.  Resistors have several band structures.   There are also four screw terminals that are raised above the board that may be used to hold components off the surface off the board.  These quick-connect terminals allow users to add or remove components quickly. They can be used as screw port terminals to add in other resistors or cables.

Additionally, the board has six potentiometers lined up along the front board edge. Each potentiometer has a small screw in the faceplate that can be adjusted to control how much energy goes in or out of the board. The DS3800DRFA is also easily attached to a motherboard via four anchor ports (one in each corner). Every component is neatly labeled and DS3800DRFA is printed on the board along with GE's seal.
