The GE Regulator Turbine Control Board DS3800DGRA also is populated with 1 trimmer resistor and multiple potentiometers with dial settings. The board is also populated with multiple wire terminals and multiple jumpers.

The GE Regulator Turbine Control Board DS3800DGRA is populated with 1 trimmer resistor. The device is covered in a blue material. It has a small screw protruding from it.  The technician can use it to adjust the resistance of the device to best suit the needs of the drive.

To adjust it, have on hand a fully calibrated testing device. The testing device must have probes that are designed for use with the tester. The probes must be in good working condition and have no worn or missing insulation. The tester must be a full feature device that can perform the required procedure. Place the board on a static protective pad. Make sure the work space is free of moisture, dust, and dirt. Also have on hand a small screwdriver. Adjust the trimmer resistor with the screwdriver until the desired reading is indicated on the tester device. You can drop a liquid on the trimmer resistor that hardens and prevents the screw from accidentally turning. The liquid can be removed by peeling it off. Then, the trimmer resistor can be turned again. This might be useful if the board is installed in another drive.
