Product Description

The DS3800DBIB1C1C is a printed circuit board that has been designed as an integral part of the Mark IV Speedtronic line by GE. This series has been created to control gas and steam turbines by distributing control of the system across a grid of inter-working microprocessors. The load of the system can be redistributed when one part fails, and in that way allows for less downtime as the whole continues to run while a single part is diagnosed and corrected of an issue. The DS3800DBIB1C1C has been designed as an interface card.

The DS3800DBIB1C1C is a small board designed as an auxiliary "plug-in" to a larger board. It has four connectors, marked 1,2,3, and 4. It has four drill-out holes, one in each corner of the board. It has two small surface-mounted connectors--one marked C101 next to a ring marked TP1 the other next to a ring marked TP2, and one yellow polypropylene capacitor marked C100. This capacitor is rated 708A1, M/E 200V 1.0+10%. The DS3800DBIB1C1C is designed with ten resistors and 6 small capacitors marked 'cr'.  It also has a blue potentiometer at the bottom of the board wired for variable resistance. 

The Speedtronic system is designed to sequence turbine auxiliaries for startup, to sequence turbine fuel, and to synchronize the voltages of the generator and system. It is also designed to perform air, fuel, and emissions control, and shutdown and cooldown procedures.
