About the IC3600TRLH1B
Greater Product Series Information
The IC3600TRLH1B is a component designed for both the Mark I and the Mark II series. Both series were made by GE for the management of gas and steam turbines. By integrating several intentional redundancies into the MKI/MKII designs, GE was able to:
- increase the reliability of their heavy-duty turbines through better management and the limitation of mechanical downtime.
- Improve efficiency through automation of such procedures as startup and shutdown.
The MKI and MKII series are now both over four decades old and are no longer supported by GE. They became obsolete with the release of newer Speedtronic systems like the MKIV-MKVIe.
Hardware Tips and Specifications
The IC3600TRLH1B has a single potentiometer, which is located in the center of the board. This is a trim potentiometer and may be used to calibrate circuits. This is certainly not the singular IC3600TRLH1B device hardware component specification of note. The board has several box capacitors, as well as ceramic capacitors, aluminum electrolytic and polyester vinyl capacitors, The board has both carbon composite and metal film resistors, many of which are mounted to the board vertically. The board uses at least three examples of surface wiring. These aforementioned hardware components are not the only critical features of this TRL-abbreviated product:
- The IC3600TRLH1B has over twenty transistors of various designs.
- The board is populated on one edge with right-angled metal pins over numbering.
- The board is marked with the GE logo, the board number, and several silver traces.
