Product Description
The IC3600TPGA1 is a PCB component created by GE for their Mark I system. This board also works within the Mark II series. The MKI and MKII were the earliest systems in GE’s popular Speedtronic series of gas/steam turbine management. Both systems are designed around control/protection/sequencing that implements fail-safes to improve the reliability of the systems. Both also implement logic control to automate as many startup and shutdown procedures as possible to improve efficiency. And while the MKI and MKII are now considered obsolete, both remain in use by many facilities.
The IC3600TPGA1 is a small board with few components. The board includes multiple right angled pins along one board edge that function together as a backplane. When the IC3600TPGA1 is inserted into a rack system these pins facilitate communication between the board and the rest of the system. The board is marked with the GE logo, with the board i.d. Number, and with several codes. The back surface carries the code 68A989775G1.
The IC3600TPGA1 has a single large component that takes up roughly one-third of the board. This component is marked 013581302 01. The board has two transistors, electrolytic and poly vinyl capacitors, a single wire wound resistor, and several CCR (carbon composite resistors.) The board utilizes surface wiring in several places.
Please refer to manuals, user guides, or data sheets referencing the IC3600TPGA1 part number for information pertaining to installation. Technical support for Mark I and Mark II components was provided by GE.
