About the IC3600SSFG1

Greater Mark Series Info

The IC3600SSFG1 PCB or printed circuit board is part of the Speedtronic  Mark I-II series created by General Electric or GE. The Mark I and Mark II were the earliest generations in the Mark turbine management series.

The Mark systems automate and control all of the functions of gas turbines and have been used all over the world for almost fifty (50) years. These systems were designed to work in any type of gas turbine system across many industries. The IC3600SSFG1 is what is called a solenoid filter board.

Hardware Tips and Specifications

The IC3600SSFG1 features several circuit board components. A series of seven (7) yellow capacitors are featured on the right side of the IC3600SSFG1. Each of these capacitors is labeled with a voltage of 150 volts (150V). These components are identified by the reference designator C, from C1 to C7. A column of resistors is aligned parallel to the capacitors. These resistors:

  • are brown
  • contain bands which are
    • gold
    • brown
    • and green
  • are labeled with the letter R, from R1 to R7

Situated in between these two rows is another row of very small diodes. These diodes are white and black in color. They are labeled with the designator CR, as CR1 to CR7. A series of prongs can be seen to the right of the IC3600SSFG1. These prongs are meant to connect this PCB to other parts in the turbine system. A series of numbers is printed on the right edge of the IC3600SSFG1 next to these prongs. The numbers range from 4 to 48, counting by fours.

Frequently Asked Questions about IC3600SSFG1

Is this IC3600SSFG1 Mark I or II Series product a revised option?

No. While it does possess a normal type of printed circuit board product assembly, this IC3600SSFG1 device's IC3600SSFG1 product number suggests that it has not been revised through any singular product revision, A-rated or otherwise.

What was the SSFG functional abbreviation developed for?

The SSFG functional product abbreviation is just that; a convenient shortened version of the long and easy-to-forget IC3600SSFG1 product number.

Reviews For IC3600SSFG1

Internal Review
(4.0)

This IC3600SSFG1 printed circuit board product or just the IC3600SSFG1 PCB in short was developed for either the Mark I or the Mark II Turbine Control System Series. Each diode in this IC3600SSFG1 product's normal Mark I or II Series assembly is somewhat oddly-labeled through markings beginning with CR. It can of course still be both repaired and replaced now. - AX Control Lead Technician
