The IC3600LPGC1 is a V Continuous Pulse Generator Card for the Mark I/Mark II series, GE’s first two Speedtronic systems. Both systems have now been used for over four decades, and are still in use around the world. Yet neither system is still supported by the original equipment manufacturer, as GE has continued to develop other systems for steam and gas heavy-duty turbine management, including other technologically advanced Speedtronic systems like the MKV and MKVI, as well as systems beyond these.
The IC3600LPGC1 is marked with the code 006/01 and the board i.d. number. It also has the GE logo. Numbering on one edge corresponds to a line of pins that are used for communication.
The IC3600LPGC1 has three potentiometers. These potentiometers are of two sizes. Potentiometers can be used for voltage division or to calibrate equipment. Ten polyester capacitors populate the board. Nine of these are mounted to the board horizontally, one vertically. The board also has ceramic capacitors. The board is populated with transistors of several designs. Resistors on this board tend to be carbon composite. Many components on this board are mounted vertically.
