The IC3600AIAE1A1B is a GE FANUC Current Sensor Card designed for the Mark I and Mark II series. These series were created by General Electric to manage gas and steam turbines. The MKI and the MKII were the first of the Speedtronic systems from GE, which were specifically designed for adaptability, quick response, accurate performance, and running reliability. The earlier Speedtronic systems were built with single or double redundancies on important protection parameters to maximize efficiency and uptime.
The IC3600AIAE1A1B has the GE logo marked on its surface. It is drilled in two corners and is marked with its unique identification number. The code “006/03” appears in the center of the board. Twenty-five individual metal connectors are placed along one long side of the board. Together, these function as a backplane to wire the board into the primary system. The board is numbered below these pins.
The IC3600AIAE1A1B has two large relays attached to its surface. These components are marked F002 68A993040 G1 and E004 68A93039 G1. The board has several transistors and amplifiers. Capacitors are made of either polyester vinyl or aluminum electrolytic material. Most resistors and diodes have been mounted in a vertical position. The board also has two potentiometers, which are located side-by-side.
