The 193X801DAG03 is a PCB component that acts as a Coordination Signal Amplifier board manufactured by GE for their DC drive systems. This includes the Speed Variator Drive, the SCR drive, and other compatible systems. Systems in this class run off of a DC motor and often are attached to a separate operator station with a remote enclosure that manages operations like start, stop, run, speed adjustment, and other basic controls.
Like many boards in this series, the 193X801DAG03 is built with an attached front faceplate. This faceplate is designed with a curved handle that allows technicians to easily remove and insert the board into rack systems during maintenance or replacement. The faceplate attaches to the PCB via two screws threaded from the bottom of the PCB. The faceplate carries the board number, identifying name, and manufacturer logo. It has four round openings. Three of these have been closed with plugs. The fourth is populated with a rotary dial that connects to a rotary potentiometer located on the board surface.
The 193X801DAG03 is populated with carbon composite resistors. Capacitors are of several materials but include high-voltage electrolytic and polyester vinyl capacitors. The board has several transistors on its surface. Components may be mounted vertically or horizontally, and often do not have reference designators.
