The 193X741ABG01 is a Power Supply--Dual Output card manufactured by GE for their DC drive systems. This includes the SCR Drive, the Speed Variator Drive, and other compatible drives. These systems may be general purpose drives or can be used for test stand systems or machine tool control.
The 193X741ABG01 is designed with a wide blue and silver front panel. The panel has a rounded handle attached to its bottom edge that simplifies the process of inserting or removing the PCB from its rack system for replacement or maintenance. The PCB and the front panel are attached via two screws inserted through a top-hat flange located on the bottom edge of the front panel and the front edge of the PCB as well as a reinforcing bar that is located on the top edge of the board.
The primary components on the 193X741ABG01 are two metal housings that bisect the board. Each of these connects to the board using standoffs and five screws. Each housing has a bipolar transistor attached to its top surface. Each also has two fuses attached to its back edge. Beneath these housings, the board has multiple surface wires ending in red connectors. These connectors clip onto bias jumpers connected to the edges of the board. These jumpers are marked with numbers. The board is also populated with a number of electrolytic capacitors, as well as other components. Some of these components are mounted to metal brackets that allow for horizontal mounting above the board’s surface.
