Product Description

The 193X730ADG02 is a Reversing Drive circuit board manufactured by GE to fit into either the Speed Variator Drive system, the SCR Drive system or other compatible drives.  The Speed Variator Drive is designed to run machine tools, test stand systems, or coordinated lines. The SCR Drive can also be used for machine tools, coordinated lines, or for general purpose systems.  Both of these systems are powered by DC motors.

The 193X730ADG02 is part of the regulator system of the drives mentioned above. The other cards in this system include an SCR Bridge Card, a coordination card, current limit cards, and an SCR power amplifier card.   These cards are inserted into guides and mated with receptacles in the rack assembly. The handle located on the front of the 193X730ADG02  makes inserting the card into the drive or removing it for inspection more convenient. The front panel of the board includes the board name, board ID number, and the GE logo.  The panel connects to the PCB via two screws.

The 193X730ADG02  is built with two transformers connected by a metal bar.  It has over ten transistors. Capacitors are both polyester vinyl and electrolytic material, and may be mounted above the surface of the board.  Resistors include two large wire wound resistors mounted horizontally above the board between two metal posts, as well as carbon composite and metal film resistors, mounted to the board surface horizontally and vertically.
