Product Description

The 193X727ABG01 is a Pulse Transformer Card manufactured by General Electric to be compatible with a number of their DC drive systems, including the Speed Variator Drive and the SCR Drive.  These are industrial drives for general purpose use. They can be used to control machine tools and for test stand systems. Both systems include a Control and Power unit and are powered by a DC motor.  

Unlike most cards in the 193x series, the 193X727ABG01 does not have a front panel attached.  The card is designed with six transformers mounted into frames. The transformers are placed across the card in a roughly circular pattern.  The board has six transistors, nine polyester vinyl capacitors, and several lines of carbon composite resistors. Some resistors and capacitors are mounted vertically. The board also has eleven varistors. Varistors shunt current created by excessive voltage away from more sensitive components when they are triggered. Varistors are variable resistors.  

The final components on the 193X727ABG01 are twenty-six bias jumpers (metal connections.)  These components are numbered and also carry a separate letter/number designator.

The 193X727ABG01 board number is printed in the center of the board.  Factory drill holes have been made along three edges. There is also a single factory-made drill hole in the center of the board.
