Product Description

The 193X701FAG01 is a Discriminator Filter Card manufactured by GE.   This PCB is designed for the Speed Variator Drive, which is an adjustable speed closed loop system used for coordinated lines, machine tool control, and test stand systems. While the Speed Variator Drive can be specifically designed for the end user, most of these systems include a DC motor, a power and control unit, and some kind of operator station.

The 193X701FAG01 has a front panel that is white with a blue band on the top edge.  This band is printed with various information, including the GE logo, the board name, and the board identification number.  The remainder of the board is blank. A rounded handle connects at two points near the bottom edge of the board. The board connects to the circuit board using two screw connects that are supported by a metal bar that fits over the screw connections on the top edge of the board.

The 193X701FAG01 is a significantly empty board.  Most of the board has no components at all. There are two carbon composite resistors located next to where the front panel connects to the board.  Two more carbon composite resistors are placed perpendicular to these components. There is one more carbon composite resistor on the board, which is located between four polyester vinyl resistors.  Two of these resistors are marked 2.0 10% 50V, and two are marked 1.0 10% 50V. All components are through-hole components and are mounted to the board horizontally. Their location on the board is marked with black rectangles.
