Product Description

The 193X244ACG01 is a board component manufactured by GE (General Electric) for their DC drive systems such as the SCR Drive, the Speed Variator Drive, and other similar drive systems.  SCR drive systems are unidirectional while Speed Variator drives offer bidirectional, adjustable speed. These systems are used for coordinated lines and machine tool control. The SCR Drive is designed with an operator station with a remote housing that includes the speed adjust, start and stop controls and functions that allow the operator control of basic command functions.   More information about the particulars of each system can be accessed through system manuals or user guides.

The 193X244ACG01 is designed to function as a Signal Level Detector.  This board has a front faceplate with a handle and four round openings and a rounded opening to allow for easy removal and insertion of the board for maintenance and replacement.   The board is marked with the manufacturer’s logo, the board function, and the board id number. Two of the openings are populated by lead screws for trimming out the setting on the connected potentiometers.  These components are connected to the board directly behind the openings. The other two openings are populated by LED indicators.

The 193X244ACG01 is a component-heavy board.  It has a single transformer, a voltage regulator, two relays (located on opposite sides of the rear board edge,) over a dozen transistors of various design, stab-on connectors, and resistors, and capacitors.  Some stab-on connectors are connected to the board via surface wiring. Capacitors may be made of electrolytic material or polyester vinyl material. Components can be mounted to the board in a horizontal or a vertical position.
