The Fuji Electric FRN5.5G11S-2 is a 5.5 horsepower inversion drive from the Frenic 5000 G11 series. Members of this series are general purpose drives, capable of operating in an array of factory applications. Machines like elevators, drills, and presses can all operate with an inverter like this. Efficiency is a main design feature of this drive, as it features an integrated dynamic torque vector control system. This allows the drive to alter motor output using calculations based on an individual load’s requirements.

FRN5.5G11S-2 is a three phase drive capable of producing a range of outputs. Voltages produced by this inverter can range from 200V to 230V, with a maximum voltage of 240V. Frequency ranges for these outputs can range from 0.1Hz to 400Hz. Source inputs to the device can measure from 200V to 230V with a 50/60Hz frequency. After set up, remote operation of this inversion drive is possible. The keypad found on the front panel is detachable, allowing for access to the drive from remote distances.

A few storage and installation parameters are provided by the manufacturer to protect the integrity of the drive. Indoor installation is the only suitable option, as FRN5.5G11S-2 is housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure. Any operating environments should be climate controlled to ensure the device operates correctly. Production lines and factories should maintain ambient temperatures no lower than -10℃ (14℉) and no higher than 50℃ (122℉).
