The FRN18.5G11S-4CX is a Frenic 5000P11S Series Fuji inverter. As with most of the 5000 P11S series modules, the FRN18.5G11S-4CX is compatible with most industrial plant and equipment areas. The front panel has nine push buttons which include the following: PRG, SHIFT>>, RESET, UP, DOWN, FUNC/DATA, FWD, REV, and STOP. This inverter has a 3-phase power source of 380 to 480 Volts at 50/60 Hertz. It produces a 3-phase output of 380 to 480 Volts at a frequency that can range from a minimum of 0.1 Hertz to a maximum of 400 Hertz. The absolute maximum output supported by the FRN18.5G11S-4CX is 29KVA 39A at 150% for one minute.
The user should utilize the keypad to operate the machine; specifically, use the forward, reverse and stop keys. When in operation mode, the LED monitor will display the output current, motor or line speed, the setting frequency, and the voltage. When in trip mode, the LED monitor will display a fault code that the user can refer to in order to troubleshoot the cause of the trip. Use the up/down keys to adjust the frequency of speed—just ensure you are in operation mode. If you are in program mode, the up/down keys are used to adjust function code numbers and set data values. Use the program key to switch from the display to a menu or the initial screens for either alarm or operation mode. Some of the protective functions of the FRN18.5G11S-4CX include over and under voltage protection, Incoming surge protection, input phase loss protection and overcurrent protection to name a few.
