Product Description

OPC-G9S-RY is an optional control board designed by Fuji Electric. This board is compatible with inversion drives from Fuji’s Frenic 5000 G9S series. Inverters from this series are general purpose drives capable of being installed in a number of factory and production line settings. As many drives from this series do not normally provide relay outputs, this board provides that interfacing capability. Relay outputs can signal in both AC and DC voltages, providing universal appeal. Transistor outputs on the drive are converted with this board into relay outputs (1SPDT).

Installation of OPC-G9S-RY can be completed quickly and easily. To access the internal mounting site, remove the front plate of the drive. Once removed, the main circuit control board is exposed. This board simply snaps into place on top of the existing control board. By connecting these boards, the drive can now access the information and control provided by this relay output board.

Drive and board longevity depend on users following all provided installation and storage parameters. Housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure, G9S drives require a climate controlled indoor operating facility. Production lines and factories should maintain ambient temperatures no lower than 14℉, or -10℃, and no higher than 122℉, or 50℃. For detailed instructions on installing and operating the OPC-G9S-RY board with the G9S drive, refer to the datasheet as well as the series manual.
