OPC-G11S-RY is an optional relay output card designed for the Fuji Electric Frenic 5000 G11 series. Drives from the G11 series are general purpose, allowing them to be used in a number of factory applications. This card provides its installed inversion drive with relay output capabilities. These outputs are not factory standard and require this card. Output terminals Y1 and Y4 are converted from producing transistor outputs to relay outputs (1SPDT). Relay outputs allow for AC and DC loads to be transmitted by the device.
Two mounted drives can be installed within a single G11 drive. Fuji developed two different cards, Type 1 and Type 2. OPC-G11S-RY is a Type 1 card. When installing this option, no other Type 1 cards can be accepted. Only a Type 2 card can be used simultaneously. Two mounting locations for cards are available in Fuji G11 drives, but this card must be installed in Location A. Installing the card in this location requires unscrewing and removing the device faceplate. Directly underneath the plate is an internal mounting location for the card.
By following all installation parameters, maintaining the card as well as the drive is simple. Members of the G11 series should be housed in climate controlled facilities. Ambient temperatures in these locations should range no lower than -10℃ (14℉) and no higher than 50℃ (122℉).
