Product Description

The 690+ Eurotherm 690PD/0300/400/0021/US is a solid state drive (SSD) from Parker-Eurotherm’s AC Drive system. This is an obsolete product that is no longer being manufactured. The 690+ Eurotherm 690PD/0300/400/0021/US can meet the requirements of a simple single-motor application as well as that of a more sophisticated multi-drive system. The unit uses a 32-bit microprocessor based motor control algorithm that allows configuration and addition of control options to tailor the drive to meet the exact needs of your facility. The 690PD/0300/400/0021/US is dual rated for constant or quadratic variable torque applications. It has built-in chokes to protect against spikes and line surges, and offers protection options like IP20, IP40 (NEMA 1) and IP54 (NEMA 12.) Function block programming allows for ‘out of the box’ use, but still allows for adaptations to be made. Configuration can be performed remotely through connections via the unit’s input/outputs, using compatible software programs, or locally via the unit’s HMI keypad. This has a backlit, clear display with customizable screens. Default language on this unit is English. However, this can be changed to several other options. The 690PD/0300/400/0021/US is a is rated for 30kW (40 HP) 400V 3-phase motors to 59 amps at high overload. The unit can run to 37W (50 HP) to 73 amps when it is Fan/pump rated. The switching frequency is 3kHz with a speed control range of 0/300Hz max. This unit can be cubicle or wall-mounted. Wall mount applications must have the top cover fitted correctly.
