Product Description

The Eurotherm 690+ SSD Drive 690PD/0300/400/0010/UK is a solid-state AC inverter drive designed to control the speed of standard 3-phase motors. This drive is designed for use on 30kW (40 HP) 400 V 3-phase motors up to 59 amps. The unit is designed for wall mounting in a clean environment or cubicle mounting. Standard options of the 690PD/0300/400/0010/UK include the ability to control the unit from a remote location through its digital and analog outputs and the ability to control it locally through the unit’s 6901 Keypad. The 690PD/0300/400/0010/UK is contained within a gray housing with multiple openings to allow for air flow through the main drive assembly to the internal workings of the drive. The housing includes the keypad, a keypad port, an RS232 programming port, and a power terminal shield. The housing includes multiple retaining screws that allow access to the internal workings of the drive. Internal components include a power board fan, a chassis fan, earthing points, and control and power terminals. The unit has four analog inputs, eight digital inputs, three analog outputs, and three digital outputs. The 690PD/0300/400/0010/UK has a switching frequency of 3kHz. The speed control range is 0/300Hz maximum. Braking is 100% x 20 seconds duty, or 33% continuous. The unit needs a minimum clearance of 25 mm each side for ventilation. The standard language programmed on this UK drive is English; the drive offers other languages as options.
