The 690PB/0055/400/3/0/0021/US is part of Parker-Eurotherm’s AC Integrator Drive series. This series of AC Drives was originally designed and produced by Parker. They are, however, still capable of performing excellent speed control for a single motor system. Parker-Eurotherm has designed these drives in a wide variety of frame sizes, power outputs, with varying supplies and options. The 690PB/0055/400/3/0/0021/US is a B-frame 5.5 kW 3-phase 400 VAC 50/60Hz drive. It has an IP20 UL Type 1 surround with HMI/keypad. The standard configuration language for this unit is English.
The 690PB/0055/400/3/0/0021/US offers an RS232 programming port. In this unit, this port connects to the HMI/keypad mounted in the unit’s faceplate. This backlit unit allows for local communication with the unit and configuration of function blocks, as well as the ability to view data on the unit’s display.
The 690PB/0055/400/3/0/0021/US offers a dual torque rating. This is user configurable and can be set to constant torque or quadratic. The unit ships with basic function blocks like speed control, winder control, process PID, preset speeds, fwd/rvs, and raise/lower in place. This allows the unit to be used ‘out of the box.’ However, the 690PB/0055/400/3/0/0021/US has over one hundred function blocks that can be chosen by the user. This allows the creation of entire control strategies if desired.
