Eurotherm 690+ 690PB/0040/400/3/0/0021/US

The 690 Plus series of drives from Parker-Eurotherm are AC drives for variable speed applications.  They are designed to be able to meet the needs of all types of variable speed systems, from single motor speed control systems to sophisticated applications using multiple drives.   Originally designed and produced by Parker, the 690 Plus series can be user-configured for open-loop, closed-loop vector, or sensorless vector control.  In some cases, these configurations may require auxiliary parts. 

The 690PB/0040/400/3/0/0021/US offers motor thermistor terminals, control terminals, an RS232 programming port, a system board interface connector, and a processor with a range of analog and digital inputs/outputs.   The RS232 port is a non-isolated serial link for communication with the connected keypad.  This HMI allows for local input and configuration of functions or data.  Alternately, the drive can be configured using a compatible software program like Parker’s “DSE Lite.”  

The 690PB/0040/400/3/0/0021/US is rated 4.0kW 400 VAC (+/- 10%) 50/60 Hz.  It has an IP20  UL Type 1 enclosure.   The default language is English; this can be changed using configuration software.

The 690PB/0040/400/3/0/0021/US is typically configured with standard macros functions to allow use upon delivery.  This includes such controls as basic speed control, preset speeds, raise and lower, forward and reverse, winder control, process PID, and closed loop speed feedback.  Other functions can be set at your discretion to allow the unit to meet your needs.   For more information on function blocks or proper configuration techniques, please consult product manuals or series user guides.
