 690PB/0040/400/3/0/0020/US

This unit is part of a lineup of SSD/solid-state drives in the Eurotherm 690+ series, originally produced by Parker.   The 690+ series are AC drives designed to meet the requirements of all types of variable speed applications.  This includes everything from single motor speed control to more complicated multi-system drive systems.  The 690+ uses a 32-bit motor control algorithm to create a powerful, flexible platform that can be tailored for a number of specific industrial needs. 

The 690PB/0040/400/3/0/0020/US is rated 4.0kW 400V (+/-10%) 50/60 Hz.  This is designed for a three-phase supply.  The unit is fitted with an IP20  panel mounting with falling dirt protection (UL Type 1.)  This unit does not have a keypad.  Please note this unit has a risk of electric shock through capacitive energy.  Technicians should allow three minutes for capacitors to discharge after de-energization before servicing.  

The 690PB/0040/400/3/0/0020/US has twelve inputs and six outputs.  It has a keypad port, power, control, and earth terminals, and an internal thermistor connection.   The unit is designed with an internal cooling fan that helps move air through the grates located in the unit’s panels.   Proper installation with at least 70 mm clearance above and below and 15 mm each side is necessary for heat dissipation.  

The 690PB/0040/400/3/0/0020/US is designed with standard macro functions pre-programmed to allow for immediate use of the unit.  These include such controls as basic speed control, winder control, closed loop speed feedback, preset speeds, process PID, raise/lower, and forward/reverse.  Other functions can be programmed using the software.  Please consult 690+ manuals or user guides for more detailed information.
