Product Description

The Eurotherm 690+ 690PB/0022/400/3/0/0021/US is an SSD (solid state drive) AC Inverter drive.  This product was originally developed and manufactured by Parker Engineering.  AC690+ drives offer user-configurable modes including closed-loop vector control, sensorless vector control, and open-loop control.  The unit is designed to manage variable speed applications using microprocessor-based motor control.  The unit ships with function blocks pre-configured for out-of-the-box ease of use, but adjustments to these functions can be adapted and configured to meet the requirements of your facility’s particular needs.   

The 690PB/0022/400/3/0/0021/US is an obsolete product.  It is rated 2.2kW (3 HP) to 5.5 A for 400V.   This unit is designed for three-phase motors.  The unit is 177 mm wide by 181 mm deep by 233 mm high.  The unit offers a speed control range of 0/120 Hz (default), ) 0/240 Hz, or 0/480 Hz.  The unit has twelve inputs (four analog, eight digital) and six outputs (three analog, three digital.)    The unit can be configured using the front panel keypad with display or using PC software via a remote connection through the drive’s inputs/outputs.   As a US model, this unit offers a default language of English; however, this can be reconfigured to several other languages.  

The 690PB/0022/400/3/0/0021/US has a grey outer housing drive assembly with multiple openings for air flow. The exterior includes the keypad and keypad port.  The interior of the drive includes a cooling fan, control and power terminals, a thermistor connection, and earth terminals.   Please consult manuals or user guides for this product for more information regarding its operation or installation.
