The Eurotherm 620L00154000010 enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.
The Eurotherm 620L00154000010 is designed for easy installation. Four bolts or screws are all that is needed to attach the device to a wall. However, extensive wiring is needed for powering the device, controlling the device, ground wiring, and communication wiring for fiber optic and serial connections. Other installation might be needed for cooling, venting, or building a cubicle for use by the device.
This might result in installation debris landing in or near the device or damage to the device. Observe the device and check for dents, scratches, and signs of damage. Visually inspect the components and make sure you don’t see signs of damage.
Inspect the device for dust, pieces of wire, metal clippings or shards, or other debris. Make sure nothing has lodged in the motor or other moving parts. Turn the motor with your hand back and forth and ensure it moves freely. This is important because debris might prevent the motor from spinning and damage the motor or cause debris to be thrown out of the motor.

Remove the fuses from the main 3-phase power supply and also the one-phase auxiliary power supply.
