The Eurotherm 620L-0450-400-0010-UK-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.
The 620L-0450-400-0010-UK-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 features many I/O ports to support a wide variety of applications. The device has five analogue inputs (four of those are programmable). Two programmable analogue outputs are available. 24V DC digital inputs are available for command signals to control the device. For example, Run and Jog. Also 4 programmable digital inputs. Three 24V programmable digital outputs are available. 2-pin or 4-pin serial communications is available.
The 620L-0450-400-0010-UK-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 features protections to avoid damage from dangerous conditions. The device will stop operating if some conditions exist. For example, overvoltage, overspeed, or a short circuit condition.
Using the programming menus available on the control panel display, the operator can edit the parameters used to define the drive operation. The operator can define the speed control ranges, the stopping mode, or the overload rating, for example.
The 620L-0450-400-0010-UK-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 features two sets of fibre optic ports. Each set contains one port for transmission and one port for receiving communications. The fibre optic functionality is configured with a configuration tool provided by the manufacturer.
Also featured is support for serial communications over an RS-485 connection. The RS-485 interfaces to 4-pin RJ-45 4-pin connector. The 4-pin connector supports one pin for transmission, one pin for receiving, one 24V pin, and one 0V pin.
You can connect the device to a laptop and download the device parameters to the laptop, or upload a new configuration file to the device.
