The Eurotherm 620L-0220-400-0010-US-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.
The 620L-0220-400-0010-US-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 features several avenues for diagnosing errors, troubleshooting, and viewing the status of the device. The operator has full access to the information from the control panel.
This information can prevent damage to the motor and other components.
The control panel has indicator LEDs that provide a quick method of identifying problems at a glance. The operator can see if the device and motor are running without errors, if the braking threshold level is met, and if the control panel is in local mode.
If an alarm condition exists, the information displays on the display panel. For example, if the maximum speed of the motor exceeds the allowable range, or the number or encoder lines is too high.
Some alarm condition cause the motor to trip or stop operation. For example, if an over temperature condition exists, the device will shutdown to protect the motor and all other components from damage.
Diagnostic information is also available on the display. The operator can access the diagnostic information from a menu option while in Remote Control mode. Press the menu key is access the diagnostic menu and review all the diagnostic information. The operator can view speed feedback, speed loop feedback, and the scaled motor output voltage.
Some alarms display as hexadecimal codes. For example, 0X0020 indicates the device is running at an over voltage condition.
