The Eurotherm 620L-0180-400-0010-US-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.
Screwdrivers, socket wrenches, wire cutters, and torque wrenches are some of the common tools you’ll need for the installation. Power supply, control, networking, motor, and earth wiring are some of the connections you’ll make during installation.
Optional features are available that will improve the flexibility of the 620L-0180-400-0010-US-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 by making it applicable in a number of environments. An optional manual is available that provides instructions in the use of block diagrams and open and closed loop controls.
A configuration tool is also available for download. It is a tool used for block application programming. If you must use a power cable run over 25 meters, an external filter is available to control for interference. Several optional boards are available. Two microtach option boards to interface with a glass or plastic fiber encoder are available.
A board is available to interface with a wire-ended encoder. A switchable calibration board is available and also options boards that support RS422 AND RS485 communications are available.
The control panel is a standard feature of the 620L-0180-400-0010-US-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000. It provides the means for the operator to control the operation of the device, as well as diagnose problems, and review and update the application programs. In Remote mode, the operator can make changes to the application program using keys on the control panel. The operator can use a series of menus to navigate and update the application program.
