The Eurotherm 620L-0022-400-0010-UK-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.
The fiber optic ports on the 20L-0022-400-0010-UK-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 enables you to build a high-speed communications network. The device contains two sets of fiber optic ports. Each set has one port for transmission and one port for receiving signals. The network functions at the RS232 network standard. With fiber optic cabling the length of cabling can be longer than with copper cabling. Also, repeaters can be added between cables to increase the cable length.
The 20L-0022-400-0010-Uk-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 features DIP switches that you can use to configure the hardware for your use. Switch 1 is used to select 2-wire or 4-wire serial communications. Switch 2 controls the network line termination. The drive at the end of the network should have this switch set to ON. All other drives in the network should have this set to Off.
Switch 3 and Switch 4 are used to configure the fiber optic network. The switches control the transmission output power. Switch 5 is also used by the fiber optic network. When On, the transmitter output power is on. It allows the operator to test the fiber optic network transmission.
Switches 7, 8, and 9 configure the encoder. Switch 7 configure Input A. Switch 8 configures Input B. Switch 9 configures Input Z. Switches 10, 11, and 12 configure the optional reference encoder. Switch 10 configures Input A. Switch 11 configures Input B. Switch 12 configures Input Z.
