The Eurotherm 620L-0007-400-0010-US-ENW-0000-000-B0-000-000 enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.

The alarms help to reduce the possibility of component damage. For example, MOTOR TEMP is caused by the motor temperature being too high. The cause might be that there is not enough forced air cooling or there might be excessive load on the motor.
In Remote Control mode the control panel is used for application programming. This means the operator can view and change the application program through a set of menus. The main menus enable the operator to change diagnostics parameters, setup parameters, and alarm status.
In Local mode the display shows the model of the 620L-0007-400-0010-US-ENW-0000- 000-B0-000-000 drive. The operator can view the LEDs on the control panel. The LEDs indicate the health of the drive, the operation of the motor, and if the control panel is in Local or Remote operation.
For local operation the operator has access to keys on the control panel. The motor can be commanded to go in forward or reverse motion, the motor can be stopped, or commanded to travel at Jog speed. The site determines Jog speed during configuration.
