Product Description

The Eurotherm 620L 0007 400 0010 UK ENW 0000 000 B0 000 000 Vector Drive enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.

The 620L 0007 400 0010 UK ENW 0000 000 B0 000 000 Vector Drive is comprised of several areas.  Control circuits are used to control the motor and the various functions. Speed feedback signals control the speed of the motor. If the motor is too slow or too fast the signal can adjust the motor speed. Analogue inputs set parameters such as speed.  Digital inputs enable you to control the device through commands such as and start.

Power circuits are for the 3-phase AC power supply input. You can also enable a dynamic braking function.  Also, diagnostics are available.

When you install the device, consider the following information:

  • You can install the device on a wall or other vertical surface. The surface must be cool and solid and able to support the device.

  • You must drill four holes in the  panel and install four matching bolts or screws in the wall.

The device must have ventilation. It is an important  factor when you plan the installation. The 620L 0007 400 0010 UK ENW 0000 000 B0 000 000 Vector Drive gets hot during normal operation. Air must be able to move freely around the device and you must be sure that other device do not heat up the  620L 0007 400 0010 UK ENW 0000 000 B0 000 000 Vector Drive. Minimum clearances must be followed for the top, bottom, and sides.
