Product Description

591C/3600/9/1

The 590 series is a Eurotherm brand device; a line of motor control drives. They come with several similar components and features, such as the communication capabilities over the Eurotherm fiber-optic cable network. These controllers are designed with three core components needed to operate: 590 Link Drive, a direct current (DC) contactor, and an alternating current (AC) supply fusing set. Internally, a 16-bit microprocessor is included in the Eurotherm 590 series to process the control capabilities.

This 16-bit microprocessor is capable of handling both the complex control algorithms and the software configurable controller circuitry. This microprocessor also handles to duties of making sure the serial link connection is stable, via the fiber-optic cable connection.

The 591C/3600/9/1 also includes a series of Input and Output terminals, both analog and digital. In analog format, there is a total of 5 inputs (1 configurable and 4 non-configurable) and a total of 3 configurable outputs. Formatted digitally, there are 5 inputs (3 configurable and 2 non-configurable) and 3 configurable outputs.

This unit is designated as the 591C/3600/9/1 model. It is outfitted with a series of direct current thyristor drives and has a spare 3-way current transformer assembly for solid-state drives.

The 591C/0700/5/3 model is designed with the standard Eurotherm measurements, with dimensions of 250 mm x 415 mm x 180 mm (W x H x D).
