About the 591C/1800/7/3
591C/1800/7/3
The 591C/1800/7/3 model is designated as a model of the Eurotherm 590 series of products. These devices range from a wide array of units, all with similar specifications and variation. The usual array of hardware and other features include such devices as a direct current contractor, a series of alternating current fuses, and a 590 model LINK drive. These are standard throughout the entire Eurotherm 590 series, and the internal processes for power leveling and distribution are handled with these devices.
The control functionalities for this unit are managed by an entirely separate piece of hardware, however; the 16 bit microprocessor unit. This microprocessor manages the controller circuitry, which is able to be configured to the operator’s preferences and specifications, and is responsible for providing and carrying out the algorithms that are pre-programmed for the model to operate and run smoothly. These algorithms are advanced mathematical formulas that are completely unable to be replicated by any analog methods that are currently available.
The 591C/1800/7/3 unit is outfitted with several terminals on its sides, a feature well-applied throughout the Eurotherm 590 models. Many of these units share the same set up of ports. The 591C/1800/7/3 has up to 8 analog input and output ports (5 inputs, 3 outputs), and then there are up to 13 digital input and output ports (10 inputs and 3 outputs). A majority of these I/O ports are configurable to the user’s standards.
