About the 591C/1800/5/3
591C/1800/5/3
The Eurotherm 590 lineup of devices is a series of Motor Controller modules, which are built as a set of products that are designed with similar specifications, but numerous variations. This model, listed above, is the 591C-1800-5-3, though, more commonly designated with the ID of 591C/1800/5/3
The standard Eurotherm features that are included within the series are a 16-bit microprocessor, 590 Link Drive, a set of alternating current fusing supplies, and a direct current contactor unit. The microprocessor is essential for the 591C/1800/5/3 to be able to process and manage the control functionality of the selected motors.
The 591C/1800/5/3 unit is a 3-phase 2 quadrant converter. The unit is rated with a maximum dc output current rating of 180 amps. Additionally, the unit is rated with a 380V nominal 3 phase ac power supply voltage and a 220V auxiliary AC control supply voltage.
The Eurotherm 16 bit microprocessor is responsible for allowing the standard control circuitry to operate and be able to be configured by the standard software blocking to the user’s preferred specifications and format. The algorithms that dictate the circuitry’s actions and responses are made up of complex formulas. These pieces of code are completely unable to replicate by any means using analog techniques.
The 591C/1800/5/3 model is equipped with the standard types of external Eurotherm features, such as the simple set up process and the usual measurements. The width of the 591C/1800/5/3 measures 250 mm, while the height is at least 445 mm, and the depth reaches as far as 180 mm.
The 591C/1800/5/3 model is available from AX Control’s inventory, refurbished and repaired by our team of technicians, and is covered under our extensive warranty.
