The 591C/1500/9/3 unit is a part of the wide range of products under the Eurotherm 590 banner. These devices range with each of the specifications as a variation. The Eurotherm 590 models are equipped with a series of components and hardware which are unique to these models. There are the three core pieces of equipment: a 590 model Link Drive, a direct current contractor module, and a set of supply fusing connections that run on alternating current. These pieces of hardware are key for keeping the Eurotherm 590 models running smoothly and effectively.
The 591C/1500/9/3 models in particular come equipped with several standard features. Internally, the unit is managed by the Eurotherm 16-bit microprocessor. This microprocessor is responsible for handling both the user configurable software managed control circuitry, as well as the complex series of algorithms needed to manage the 591C/1500/9/3’s control capacity.
The 591C/1500/9/3 is externally outfitted with an array of input and output terminals, which are configured by being either analog or digital ports. In total, the 591C/1500/9/3 is equipped with a total of 8 analog I/O ports, and then 13 digital I/O ports. Additionally, a tacho input for the tachogenerator module of the 591C/1500/9/3.
The dimensions of this model are standard for the Eurotherm 590 models, with one of the larger set of measurements, at 250 mm wide, 445 mm high, and 180 mm in depth.
