About the 591C/1500/5/3
591C/1500/5/3
The 591C/1500/5/3 unit is a part of the long and wide array of varying devices in the Eurotherm 590 series of controller modules.
These controllers are outfitted with a standard set of equipment in order to successfully operate. Each model is comprised of a direct current contractor, a 590 Link Drive, and an alternating current oriented supply of fusings. These components distribute the power intake throughout the unit. The Eurotherm 16 bit microprocessor module allows for the unit to process the control functions of the unit.
The microprocessor is operated by the Eurotherm standard algorithms. These are complex algorithms that are entirely irreplicable by any analog methods. The circuitry of this model also is equipped to readily handle the control functions. It is also able to be fully configurable to the user’s preferences and needs, via the standard software. The microprocessor of the 591C/1500/5/3 is able to process the serial link communication capabilities, able to connect to multiple other drives and even PCs.
The 591C/1500/5/3 unit is outfitted with a set of Phase 2 Quadrant, non-regenerative converter modules. These converters utilize the thyristor bridge units and are able to handle the overload and transient protective capabilities.
The 591C/1500/5/3 model also is outfitted with a series of terminal ports. These ports formatted as both digital and analog Inputs and Outputs. Alongside these I/O ports, there is a tachogenerator input port.
The 591C/1500/5/3 unit is designed with the standard physical dimensions of 250 mm in width, 445 mm in height, and 180 mm in depth.
