591C/1100/9/1
This model is a part of the several Eurotherm 590 units: all of them models of Motor Control Drives. These control units are outfitted with a series of standard components, most of them internal. There is the 16 bit microprocessor, which utilizes the set of three Phase 2 converters and pair of thyristor drives.
The 591C/1100/9/1 unit is built with a series of external terminals, both designed as analog and digital ports. The analog ports include a set of 5 inputs, of which, all but 1 is configurable, and a set of 3 configurable outputs. For the digital ports, there are up to 10 inputs, 5 of which are configurable, and an additional pair is able to interface as encoder inputs. The 3 outputs are all configurable as well.
The 591C/1100/9/1 unit’s microprocessor is a standard Eurotherm module, designed to handle the processing of the control capabilities. These capabilities are managed by the unit’s complex, irreplicable algorithms that cannot be done using analog methods. The other element that handles to control function of the 591C/1100/9/1 is the control circuitry of the unit.
The 591C/1100/9/1 unit is designed with one of the standard Eurotherm 590 dimensions: the larger set of measurements. These measurements are a width of 250 mm, a height of up to 415 mm, and a depth of 180 mm.
