About the 591C/1100/6/3
591C/1100/6/3
This unit is a part of the Eurotherm 590 lineup of Motor Control Drives. These models are all from a wide range of products with multiple variations and specifications, however, most units are regarded as being interchangeable devices. This model is designated as the 591C/1100/6/3, a unit that’s outfitted with a pair of Phase Two, direct current powered, non-regenerative converter modules, with built-in Thyristor Drives.
The 591C/1100/6/3 model is equipped with an internal 16-bit microprocessor, a standard Eurotherm 590 feature. This 16-bit microprocessor is responsible for the management of the unit’s control software, algorithms, and controller circuitry.
The 591C/1100/6/3 unit’s algorithms are complex formulas, which are unable to be replicated by any analog methods or means. The circuitry of this model is configurable by software to match the user’s preferences. These pieces of hardware are Eurotherm standards, just like the serial link communication capabilities of the Eurotherm 590 series.
The 591C/1100/6/3 model, in particular, is outfitted with a set of Input and Output terminals, both formatted with both digital and analog capabilities. There are 4 configurable analog inputs and 1 non-configurable Input. The 3 Outputs are all configurable. Then, the digital Inputs include a set of 5 configurable ports, with two as optional encoder inputs, for a line encoder or second encoder.
The dimensions of the 591C/1100/6/3 are slightly larger than usual models: a width of 250 mm, a height of 445 mm, and a depth of 180 mm. Refer to Eurotherm manuals for additional details.
