About the 591C/0350/9/3
591C-0350-9-3
The 591C/0350/9/3 model of the Eurotherm 590 series is one of the many devices in this lineup with an advanced array of features and specifications that make it a part of this line. The 590 series has several similar features and pieces of hardware attached. The Eurotherm 590 models include a set of standard components: a direct current contractor, a series of alternating current supply fusing, and a 590 Link Drive module.
The 591C/0350/9/3 unit is equipped with a set of three, non-regenerating converter units. They are Phase 2 Quadrant models, operating at 35 to 720 amperes. These non-regenerative converters are built with a set of one fully controlled thyristor bridge unit, and one field bridge, to manage both the transient and overload protection processing. They work together with the series of control circuitry that the 591C/0350/9/3 is built with. These two components work to handle the acceleration and deceleration processes, with control over the speed and torque of motors in both directions of rotation.
The 591C/0350/9/3 unit is also outfitted with a standard field regulator module, which consists of a full wave, partially controlled, single phase thyristor. The regulator provides a fixed voltage, or fixed current source, depending on the mode selected by the operator.
The 591C/0350/9/3 has a set of integrated analog and digital I/O ports. There are 7 analog I/O ports, and 8 digital I/O ports, most of which are configurable by the user. There is also a tacho input, and an internal AVF for feedback.
