The 590S-1800-9-1-1-00 is a DC drive from Parker Eurotherm’s 590S DC series. This is a non-regenerative drive rated at 220-500 VAC. This has a 3-phase AC power supply. While this product has been discontinued by Parker Eurotherm, it can be reliably sourced from AX Control. The 590S-1800-9-1-1-00 features a single-phase thyristor bridge as part of its field regulator. This offers transient and overload protection. The drive has a DC contactor and an on-board AC thyristor fuse to offer additional protection. 590S drives offer 16-bit microprocessor control using complex control algorithms. Variables and setpoints use digital values, allowing for greater accuracy when compared to analog devices.
The 590S-1800-9-1-1-00 is built with a front control door that will allow you access to the interior of the unit. Inside, the drive has multiple test points, an LED display, fiber optic connections, terminal blocks, a tachometer generator board, and the MMI display and keypad.
